Xavier Herle-Carn is responsible for the design and implementation of security solutions to support the operations of multinational companies in Africa, Middle East, and Europe Prior to his current role Xavier was the Regional Security Director, Europe for International SOS and Control Risks. In this role, he was responsible for the delivery of Security Assistance and Crisis Management in 113 countries (Western and Northern Africa, Europe, ECIS) managing a team of 30 operational and intelligence professionals based in 6 locations.
Since 2006 he has been directly involved in the management of numerous crises (Lebanon, Chad, Guinea Conakry, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Egypt, Mali, volcano eruption in Iceland, Central African Republic, Ebola Outbreak, Burkina Faso, Paris, Brussels attacks…). From 1991-2005 he has served at the French Ministry of Defense and in French Embassies in South East Asia.
Xavier holds a Master’s Degree from the National Institute of Oriental Languages-INALCO (Bahasa, Thaï, and International Business).
